The single-rack space unit includes an impressive suite of DSP tools and works seamlessly with Symetrix’ ARC-series of wall-mounted interface panels. The 780 provides solutions for AV designers and installers of small to medium-sized projects with unparalleled power and flexibility at a low cost. The Times Square Hong Kong system relies on the 2 pieces of One Systems 112IM for the program speaker, with 60 degree vertical and 40 degree horizontal coverage, it can avoid any unnecessary spilling of sound to nearby retails. Sound Classy took advantage of the Automix Matrix 780’s unique features to design a system for Times Square Hong Kong that sounds natural and seamless across its many zones, and that provides remarkably simple user control.

The installation at Times Square Hong Kong serves as a perfect example of the reasons for Sound Classy’s success. The system provides a video and audio feed from in-house edited or broadcast material for public display in an expansive plaza area. Although many potential solutions existed, Sound Classy steered the client toward one that would reliably meet their needs. The Times Square Hong Kong system relies on the Symetrix Automix Matrix 780 to handle automatic gain control, equalization, and signal routing. Source material and volume is controlled from a simple-to-use Symetrix ARC-2 wall-mounted panel.
